Operation christmas Child:  Shoebox Christmas

It’s time to prepare for Operation Christmas Child with Samaritan’s Purse! These shoeboxes, filled with toys and useful items, bring joy and share the love of Jesus with children around the world. Through this mission, children also have the opportunity to learn about Christianity.

Thanks to your generosity, Goodrich provided 230 shoeboxes last year! Let’s work together to reach that goal again this year.

How You Can Help
  • Donate supplies: Shoeboxes, Christmas wrapping paper, tape, toys, and other approved items.
  • Pack a shoebox: Prewrapped boxes and packing guidelines will be available at the foyer display.
  • Make a donation: Contributions to Goodrich’s designated fund should be marked “Shoebox Christmas.”
Please do not tape boxes shut. Complete a label with the appropriate age group and boy/girl designation, and attach it to the outside top of the box.

Important Dates
  • October 4: Shoebox Christmas display opens in the foyer.
  • November 8: Deadline for item donations and completed shoeboxes. A donation box will be available in the foyer.
  • November 12 at 6:00 p.m.: Packing party in the Goodrich gym. Pizza, salad, and dessert provided; please bring your own drink.
  • November 16: Boxes delivered to the designated drop-off site for shipment to the distribution center in Dallas.
Please visit the foyer display for packing guidelines, approved items, and inspiring stories about the impact of this mission.

Thank you for helping Goodrich share the joy of Christmas and the love of Jesus with children around the world!
