Unexpected Peace: Palm Sunday

Today is the sixth Sunday of Lent, a season of spiritual reflection as we prepare our hearts for our Easter joy. It’s also known as Palm Sunday, which our children have helped us celebrate this morning. We are grateful for their witness and joy. It is the celebration of Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem, which marks the beginning of Holy Week. This week we will remember Christ’s last supper, his trial and execution. The week begins by first remembering who Christ is in our lives - God’s steadfast and enduring love present in our midst.
